Postgraduate Program

The Department offers Postgraduate Degree Program leading to MSc. and PhD. in Electronics Engineering. The department has been mandated by the university to start its postgraduate program since 2014. It has an academic staff of 15. All PhD faculty members are involved in postgraduate teaching and PhD research work. The department offers both MSc. and PhD. postgraduate programs recognized by the HEC (through NoC letter No. 1-72/2016/QAD-NOC/HEC/UET-TAXILA/126 and 1-72/2016/QAD-NOC/HEC/UET-TAXILA/276) with the following specializations:

• Electronics System Design
• Microelectronic Materials and Devices
• Biomedical Electronics

The courses contain a balance of professional and analytical aspects and are designed to suit the needs of fresh graduates and those with professional career development. The faculty of Electronics Engineering Department is highly qualified and holds diverse research interests in the above mentioned areas. In addition to their academic responsibilities, the faculty is involved in conducting quality research in their respective fields of investigation.

Postgraduate Students:

The postgraduate admission is normally on yearly bases in the department with evening classes schedule. The postgraduate students are selected through the scrutiny and test/interview process. Students are educated about the program requirements at the start of each semester. The department provides counseling to the students to guide them on how to improve their academic and nonacademic skills and the performance of individual students. It helps the students to translate their outcomes into better grades, stronger friendships, improved behavior, and other positive outcomes. The list of MSc.
