Introduction
The objective of the project is to enhance access to higher education in emerging fields of engineering and technology. Keeping in view the growing needs of the industrial sector, the University, in 2010, introduced four new disciplines of Electronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Engineering Management and Industrial Engineering in addition to increase the capacity of existing departments.
Total cost of the Project is 785.307 Million at the cost sharing basis in which 685.307 Million PSDP / HEC and 100.000 Million University own resources. The completion period of the project is 36 months.
The major components of the project are given below:

a) Civil works (147,327) Rs. 413.315 Million

b) Laboratory Equipment Rs. 285.126 Million

c) Others Rs. 86.866 Million

Regarding Civil Works, UET Taxila has entrusted the consultancy Services for Design and Construction supervision to  M/S NESPAK (pvt) LTD.
