News : ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

The Department of Environmental Engineering conducted "ICTQual UK Level 3 Award in Fire Safety",   an internationally certified training program (managed by a Local Industry Partner) on November 11 and 13, 2025. This program was designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention and safety management. The course was structured according to global standards and covers the key areas of (i) principles of Fire Safety, (ii) fire Safety legislation and regulations, (iii) fire risk assessment and management, (iv) fire safety management systems, (v) fire detection and alarm systems, (v) emergency evacuation procedures, (vi) firefighting equipment and systems, and (vii) practical fire safety exercises. This future-oriented program will help strengthen safety practices and compliance standards.
